Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient consultation, treatment planning, financial counseling, pre-treatment education and coordination of care, strong organizational skills, and be familiar with various medical software systems.

Duties:

Meet with patients to discuss their dental needs, concerns, and treatment goals. Provide information about available treatment options, procedures, and associated costs.

Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients. Ensure that treatment plans align with patients' oral health needs, preferences, and financial considerations.

Verify patient insurance coverage, process insurance claims, and assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, coverage limits, co-pays, and deductibles. Provide estimates of treatment costs and review financial options.

Discuss treatment costs, payment options, and financial arrangements with patients. Provide guidance on financing options, payment plans, and third-party financing programs to help patients afford necessary dental treatments.

Educate patients on the details of planned dental procedures, including pre-operative instructions, post-operative care, and potential risks and benefits. Address any questions or concerns to ensure informed decision-making.

Serve as a liaison between patients and dental providers to coordinate treatment sequences, referrals to specialists, and follow-up care. Ensure seamless communication and continuity of care throughout the treatment process.

Follow up with patients to confirm appointments, address any concerns or questions following dental procedures, and ensure satisfaction with treatment outcomes. Provide ongoing support and assistance as needed.

Stay updated on advances in dental treatments, insurance regulations, and dental practice management software. Participate in continuing education programs and professional development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
